The definition of self esteem: confidence in one’s own worth or abilities; self-respect.

Studies show that about 85% of the population struggles with low self esteem. Low self esteem can affect many aspects of a person’s life including but not limited to mental health, romantic relationships, job performance and even drug abuse.

How does CrossFit fit in here? First, over and over again it has been proven that frequent exercise can boost self esteem. Second, CrossFit is not just about working out and eating healthy. CrossFit may help with mental health. That hard workout you thought you couldn’t do but completed anyways? That builds confidence! Third, feeling good about yourself can boost your confidence in the bedroom or ignite your libido-which helps that romantic relationship we mentioned earlier. Lastly, focusing on a healthy lifestyle doesn’t include drug use. Besides, we get that natural endorphin high after our WODs!
