Keep Your Brain Healthy with Exercise

Mental health is just as important as being healthy and fit. A definition of mental health is someone’s state of emotional well-being. Everyday people experience mental illness, which includes anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder and personality disorders.

Physical activity is an effective treatment method for people who are struggling from acute or chronic mental illness. Exercise plays a huge role in heightening one’s mood and needs to be a fundamental part of mental health treatment. One might even say a workout a day will keep the doctor away. 

Remember that being healthy is both a mental and physical concept. Being healthy mentally is just as important as being healthy physically.
