Monday’s, you either love them or you hate them. This is the perfect opportunity for you to get your week back on track. It’s almost as if it’s a reset button for that following week. Self discipline in the fitness world often goes a long way. Finding the discipline to start your week off right with getting that Monday workout in is often the hardest part. The days where we find ourselves dreading our workout are the days we need it the most. When you find yourself just in a funk where you’re not mentally or physically ready to get a workout in, remind yourself about that after workout “high”. Monday’s are the day for that self push and trust me you will not regret that you did it.

5 Reasons to Never Miss a Monday

1. You’re more likely to work out the rest of the week.

Remember how we talked about that reset button, well here is your chance. There’s always something about if you start your Monday’s off right you’ll be on the right track to a great successful week. You’ll be able to keep the ball rolling and get all your workouts in that week.

2. You’ll smile more.

Monday’s aren’t for everyone, but with some exercise it can help you beat those Monday’s blues. When you exercise it is a common benefit that your body will release endorphins, the happy hormones. Who wouldn’t want an extra dose of happiness on a Monday?

3. You’ll quell anxious thoughts.

You may not be ready to kickstart your busy Monday, but with the help of some exercise you’ll be ready to. Instead of getting some extra sleep might as well start your day with some aerobic exercise. Studies have shown physical activity can lessen general anxiety. Once you get your workout in you’ll be able to conquer the rest of the day.

4. You’ll kickstart good self-control.

It says something about a person who has the self discipline to get up and get that workout in. If you’re able to do that you’ll be able to harness more discipline in other areas of your life.

5. You’ll catch better zzz’s.

Sleep, something everyone needs in their daily lifestyle and probably more than they are getting. Resistance exercise can help restart the circadian rhythm. This tells our body when it’s time to shut off and turn back on. The more exercise you get the better your internal body clock will control your sleep cycle.
